CAMPS AND COURSES
There are lots of
opportunities to get away from home. It's no holiday though, you're
expected to look after yourself, keep your uniform clean and pressed, and
shoes shining.
There is lots to learn though, lots of fun to be had, new friends to make,
and old friends to meet up with. The emphasis is on "teamwork" and
enjoying ourselves together.
ANNUAL CAMP

| |
Annual camp is the highlight
of the year for many. It is an experience of the RAF for a week.
Section visits, flying, target shooting, night exercise, drill, and
meeting new people and making new friends. Spaces are limited and are
only available to those cadets who put in effort to their unit. |

EASTER CAMP

| |
Easter camp is a week away
on a Military training area. "Greens" or DPM are worn all week,
and the emphasis is on "field craft", living in the field, moving in the
field, camouflage and concealment, navigation, target shooting and
leadership training. |

WING FIELD WEEKEND AND
PARADE

| |
Wing field weekend is where
the whole wing comes together at an RAF Station in the Wing to
participate in all manner of innovative, whacky and downright difficult
exercises to see who is the "best" in the wing. It culminates in a
huge parade on the Sunday afternoon |
