ADVENTURE TRAINING

ADVENTURE is one half of our motto, and at 115 Squadron we live up to it.  Cadets have the opportunity to spend time getting fit and participating in all manner of challenging, heart pounding activities.

The Wing has a dedicated team of professionals all suitable qualified to conduct adventurous training.  The Wing Adventure Training Team has Mountain Leaders, Kayak and Canoe Coaches and Climbing instructors to ensure that whilst the activities are exciting and adrenaline filled, they are safe for all who take part.

WING WINDERMERE CAMP

The ACO has it's very own Adventure Training Centre at Windermere in the Lake District.  Here cadets can experience trekking across the mountains, climbing, abseiling and orienteering.

WING LLANBEDR CAMP

The ACO has another centre at Llanbedr in North Wales, the activities are very similar to the ones on offer at Windermere, with the added excitement of our climbing wall, leap of faith and Jacob's ladder.
