OPERATIONS
Operations is the
heart of the squadron, concerning itself with the short and long term
planning of the units' training programme.
The Operations office houses the operations officer (OpsO), Squadron
Adjutant and Training officer, all posts are currently held by Civilian
Instructors.
The Squadron
OpsO's job is to co-ordinate the unit's planned response to all training
opportunities, be they flying and gliding allocations, adventure training
courses, administrative courses, camps and HQAC sponsored
activities.
A Squadron developed database assists in providing the relevant data and
inevitable paperwork to go with planning the units activities. |
