DUTY OFFICE
The duty office
is responsible for the operational running of the squadron on a normal
parade night.
The duty office is run by teams of cadets on "duty shifts". Each team
is headed up by a Cadet SNCO, with a JNCO and two cadets to assist.
Every parade night a certain number of duties must be performed by the team,
either collectively or individually.
That these actions (including the weekly health and safety monitoring check,
and fire registers) are entrusted to the young people on the unit is an
indication of how highly the squadron Commander values their input into the
running of the unit. |
